We have a vibrant community with a lot of diversity.  Neighbors within the Old Irving Park Association often volunteer their time whether on a regular basis, or an occasional basis, to make the neighborhood a better place.
 
We have a variety of opportunities for people to get involved, and you can choose the amount of time you wish to spend in volunteer efforts.  Volunteers regularly tell us that the benefits of volunteering are meeting new people, working on projects or programs that make a difference, and giving back to the community they love.  We hope you will join us in our volunteer efforts so that you can experience these benefits too.

    - Attend meetings that might be called to address a transportation opportunity or threat for Old Irving Park

Zoning

    - Attend meetings that might be called to address a zoning issue or threat for Old Irving Park

Membership 
    - Help with membership campaign

Monthly Old Irving Park Association meetings on 2nd Mondays of most months 
    - Arrive at meeting location 15 minutes early to set up chairs
    - Bring coffee and donuts to each meeting (OIPA will reimburse you)
    - Stay 15 minutes after the meeting to put away chairs
